2014-2015 Tuition Sheet

Welcome to Healthy Beginnings Montessori House

We are excited to begin this process and look forward to getting to know you and your family. Healthy Beginnings Montessori House has open enrollment, so students can be accepted at any time during the year that space is available.

We consider each applicant for admission and strive to enroll families who support our mission and whose children will benefit most from our school. Here is an outline of the admissions process.

Step 1: Tour the school. No appointment is necessary however the best time is between 9:00am to 11:00am or 3:30pm to 5:30pm. To accommodate busy schedules, weekend and evening tours are available by appointment. Contact Assistant Director Carli Ford to schedule a tour and a class observation.

Step 2: Fill out the application and return to Carli Ford with your $100 non-refundable application fee.

Step 3: A two-hour interview for both parents will be scheduled. This part of the process is for parents only. The interview consists of an observation in your child's prospective class and a meeting with the Head of School. This process takes approximately two hours. *Classroom observation is not necessary for our infant program.

Step 4: An interview with your child will be scheduled. This is a half hour visit to the class of your child's prospective teacher. This is an opportunity for both the classroom teacher and the parent to see how your child responds to the classroom environment and to the adults in it. *This does not apply to our infants or toddlers.

Step 5: Attend our Prospective Parent Class. If there are none scheduled when you submit your application, it may be postponed until the next available session. Families considering Healthy Beginnings Montessori House are also welcome to attend other parent education meetings. For a schedule of upcoming parent events, contact Carli.

Step 6: The admission committee meets to determine the appropriateness of the enrollment. All decisions will be communicated in writing by the Assistant Director.

Step 7: If you are offered a place at HBMH and you wish to accept the offer, a start date will be determined.

Non-Discrimination policy: Healthy Beginnings Montessori House has no religious affiliation and welcomes students of every race, sex, color and national or ethnic origin.
